Inking and painting regged drawings

The final stage of regging is to ink and paint the regged drawings. This is largely similar to inking and painting ordinary drawings, and we assume you're already familiar with this; see Painting basics. The major differences are:

The ink layer from each regging drawing is separate; although you can see all the layers at once, you ink them one at a time.

You ink the lines in the reg-to ink layer(s) with three special inks; these set the compositing order of each line.
